"Design is the intermediary
between information & understanding."
Steve Melnyk started his first graphic design business before he’d even graduated high school, creating signage and marketing materials for businesses across Canada. With more than 30 years of experience in branding, graphic design, structural and graphic packaging design, he’s seen the business terrain change from print to web and spends his days helping companies navigate it.
Steve has specialized experience in North American food and beverage branding and product launches, having worked with both British Columbia and Manitoba agriculture and tourism organizations.
In his spare time, you'll find Steve exploring British Columbia or trekking through Europe and South America, keeping an eye out for design trends to bring back to our clients.
"Give every project, every client, and every single design the commitment they deserve." - Steve Melnyk
The over 50 crowd is a powerful and influential market and a huge driver of our economy. In addition to having a talent for budgets and accounting, Cheryl Melnyk is our touchstone for this important market, which makes up 38% of Canada’s population. She brings an experienced perspective on marketing to baby boomers and their parents and helps to keep our creative team connected to consumers.
With experience managing projects and large events in the industries of agriculture, education, and business, Cheryl drills down the details, schedules, and budgets of our projects to keep things running smoothly.
Cheryl and Steve have been married for 40 years and have explored more than 12 countries together. When she’s not behind the computer, you can find Cheryl visiting her grandkids, cooking up a storm, or developing content for our social media clients while she explores the West Coast.
Susan Melnyk wrote her first press release at the age of 16 and after seeing it in print, she was hooked. With more than 20 years of writing for publications in four different countries, Susan brings a dynamic approach to every communications project she handles.
She has worked with government agencies, tourism organizations, charities, and businesses across Canada, Germany, South Korea, the United States, and most recently for an NGO in Afghanistan. From websites and print publications to social media campaigns, Susan creates content that connects and she isn’t afraid to jump on a plane to experience the project firsthand.
Both her and her husband's careers take them all over the world, but for Susan, Canada will always be home.
